SUPs / Paddleboards
SUP (stand up paddleboarding) is £20ph.
SUP Beginner Paddleboarders will not be permitted to do the 3.2 miles excursion to Durdle Door. We suggest 1 hour for a taster session inside the Cove. Alternatively, 2 hours if you want some time to venture to Stair Hole's Caves.
Experienced paddleboarders are welcome to paddle to Durdle Door, we reccommend 2 - 4 hours.
Life jackets are included and must be worn at all times on the water. Wetsuits can be provided (subject to availability) along with wetshoes and waterproof speakers. If you have a special out of hours request we will be happy to facilitate you.
What to expect Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP)
Upon arrival we will make sure disclaimers have been signed, video watched and you've got the gear and some idea. Buoyancy aids are compulsory and will be provided. You will take the boards to the beach and return them to Rudds hotel at the end of your booking.
You will be shown or emailed a short video beforehand which will instruct you on the basics of paddle boarding. We do not provide instructors but we will make sure you have the confidence to feel safe during the activity.
You will be shown or emailed a video on the safety at sea and the geography of the surrounding area.
